Tell us a little bit about yourself?

I love art, design, architecture, travel and anything bright & unusual. I moved to Canberra 17 years ago to study Interior Design and have been here ever since. I currently work in the construction industry and have an obsession with indoor plants.

Tell us about Amy Creative and how it came to be?

Amy Creative came to be a year and a half ago when I was between jobs and wanted a creative outlet. During that time I did a lot of research about polymer clay and started creating. My initial goal was to make statement earrings for myself. Soon after friends and family started admiring my work, so I started making my creations for them. Then word started to spread about my work and I took the plunge to an online platform as the bushfire’s / COVID hit.

Any advice for those who are thinking about turning their dreams into a reality?Just start playing around and creating, but keep at it. Do as much research as you can, and keep pushing yourself. There are a lot of great resources and communities out there to learn from and everyone is extremely friendly. Also make sure you stay true to yourself and find what makes you unique.
