Tell us about YOU?

I’m a yoga teacher, and mum to three beautiful children and a Husky. I grew up in New Zealand but have lived in Canberra for the last 15 years. These days I place a lot of focus on trying to live authentically with self-inquiry at the centre – and know that for me, living a life that doesn’t spark joy every single day is no way to live. I find this allows me to experience true connection and supports a more creative lifestyle. I also appreciate plants, funny memes and sweet treats very much. Yoga has done so much for me and my life, and I’ve always gained a lot of energy from sharing yoga with others, so Wild Studio was just the natural progression.

Tell us about Wild Yoga Studio Canberra and how it came to be?

Wild is a Yoga, Pilates and Creative Studio grounded in movement, community and sustainability. Wild developed from a vision to create a space which embodies values of authentic living. A place to support others in choosing a creative and wild life. At Wild we want to support people to explore the full range of human experience, and to show them how Yoga can positively impact day-to-day life. Through this space we hope to create an authentic, mindful and open community of those seeking to connect – but also to play, be challenged and grow. Sparking intention to live a wilder life.

Any advice for those who are thinking about turning their dreams into a reality?

Do it. We typically only regret the things we don’t do.

When you figure out what you love always make it a priority. Take every opportunity and stay kind to yourself, others and the environment, and regularly remind yourself that we’re all just trying to be better humans.
