What is your drink of choice?

Pina colada – it always gives me a sense of joy and gives me those holiday vibes. 

Tell us a little bit about yourself? 

I would describe myself as a nurturer and a big optimist. Doesn’t matter how rough times can always looking to find the light. 

Can you business owner of nine years and been in business for myself for 12 and I’m a mum two beautiful little girls aged 15 months and 2 1/2 years old. I will always have had A determination to succeed on many different levels in taking no for an answer and it’s a really hard thing for me 🙂 I’ve just learnt that no is only a word and when challenged will open up multiple other opportunities. 

Tell us about Blush Boutique and how it came to be?

I was one of the lucky ones that knew my career path since I was in year six. That made my journey through School a great experience and easy to navigate. It made my selection of classes easy to select and find tune based on what I knew my career path would lead to.

After school I studied my Diploma of Beauty Therapy and my Diploma in Specialist Makeup.

I always had a drive to run my own business so I knuckled down and completed my marketing and business education.

In 2011 I established Blush Boutique located in Gold Creek. We are a full service skin clinic that has been open for nine years this

year. I always wanted to create an environment that was a kind, nurturing and unique experience for both my therapists and our clients. 

Owning a business is definitely full of ups and downs (definitely way more ups) but it is love, passion, drive and resilience that keeps me pushing through and driving to succeed.

In 2017 my husband and I got married and had our first baby girl and 15 months later we were blessed with another little girl.

It has been absolutely crazy in our household with two babies and running a business but I surprise myself daily with what you can achieve when you set goals and have great support.

Blush Boutique has evolved throughout the years to be the exciting and energetic business it is today.

Any advice for those wanting to turn their dream into a reality?

The best advice I can give is live your passion and continue to learn. You can never learn too much. Take action no matter how small, a dream will remain that without action. ????
