A CELERY JUICE WITH MARINA FROM UNCOMMON GRAZER
What is your drink of choice? (doesn’t have to be alcoholic)I have an obsession with Celery juice, it’s a daily ritual to drink a glass full in the morning and then I sip on lemon water all day. I drink about 3L of water a day.
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I enjoy volunteering in my spare time at my children’s school, giving back to our community, spending time with those closest and going on adventures. Last year I was President of my children’s school Parents & Friends association however I sadly had to take a step back from that role.
I am passionate about anti-bullying, the statistics in Australian primary schools are shocking and being a victim of bullying myself during my school years, I wanted to make a positive change for not only my children but all children. Every child deserves to go to school happy and feel safe. Tell us about Uncommon Grazer and how it came to be?I always wanted to start something that was Uncommon and bring it to Canberra. After preparing a few boxes for our school, I realised there is art behind every box I made and continue to make. After I received the encouragement from my children’s teachers and the school community I set out to bring Canberrans an affordable option for their next event.
The registration process with ACT Health was vigorous however I would rather be safe than sorry.
I source all my produce fresh from the markets and local farms, as I believe in supporting local and getting value for money.
So much so that Uncommon Grazer is the first grazing business in Australia that offers AfterPay.
How can we support Uncommon Grazer? When buying from Uncommon Grazer you are also supporting other local businesses in Canberra. So feel free to share our social media posts, share your feedback with us and/or place an order with us.
Any advice for those who are thinking about turning their dreams into a reality?Don’t think about what others may think. Take that risk, grab that opportunity and go for it. You can do it!
