Tell us a little bit about yourself?

Hi I’m Katarina, 34 years old and born and raised in Canberra. I’m a wife and a mum of 3 boys, currently still working in the public service. Life feels 100miles an hour but I wouldn’t have it any other way (well maybe a little trick to slow down time would be great! ). I love the beach, my doggies, and coming from a European background, spending time and being close to my family means the world to me! Interior decorating is also another big passion of mine and I love changing up our home.

Tell us about Zealous & Co and how it came to be?

I always had a vision of owning a little business or boutique selling products I was passionate about so Zealous & Co was created one year ago. We sell crystals, luxury candles, home & body products all created and hand made by me + much more. I love being creative, passionate about designing and homewares, believe in spiritual energy (started seeing 11.11 all the time) so everything just seemed to tie in together and fall into place! Making candles for me is so therapeutic and fun, and I have always felt connected to crystals and amazed by their raw beauty and energy. I love to support local so the majority of my supplies come from Australian suppliers.

How can we support Zealous & Co?

It’s the little things that help the most such as sharing our page or products with your friends or family that makes our small business more visable to the wider community. We are also now open to wholesale orders, so a great opportunity for store fronts or salons to carry our range of hand made products.

Any advice for those who are thinking about turning their dreams into a reality?

Listen to that fluttery gut feeling you get when you think about the dreams you want to pursue or the the passions that make you happy. Don’t let those negative self thoughts or judgement hold you back. Coming from a shy self-doubting person such as myself, you have nothing to loose and everything to gain. There will always be bumps in the road but that’s how we learn and grow and become the best version of ourselves.
