Tell us a little bit about yourself?I’m originally from Cambridge in the uk and have been in Australia now for 7 years, I married an Aussie two years ago who said he’s afraid of the cold but then we moved to Canberra anyway. We have been in Canberra now for just over two years and love being close to the mountains! We had our first bubba a little girl last March!

Tell us a bit about how Abigail Jones Photography came to be

Abigail Jones Photography came about actually when I had my first bubba in march last year. When covid broke out my parents sadly weren’t able to make it out to meet our little one, and this made me think about capturing beautiful family memories that photos provide.

I had previously photographed friends families in Sydney and decided that having finished up my job before having our little girl that this was the perfect time to commit and launch my own business! Now with a very busy 10 month old it definitely keeps me on my toes!

I love being able to capture those candid moments and preserve those childhood memories, I honestly get excited when editing photos at the emotions we can capture through the lens.

How can we support Abigail Jones Photography? As a new mum and business owner all the support to help grow my business is so greatly appreciated! I’m currently trying to grow my instagram and Facebook page so any follows would be amazing!

Any advice for those who are thinking about turning their dreams into a reality?Take the jump and do it! Its been tough juggling a bub and starting a business, but the joy I get from sending gallery’s and seeing clients reactions makes it worth every late night!
