Tell us a little bit about yourself? 

My name is Teagan Day Canberra girl born and bred. I am a massive family girl and dog lover! I love to cook, spend time at the beach, travel, play footy and be surrounded by my incredible friends! I have a beautiful supportive fiancé who is my handy tradie at all of my events and my favourite travel buddy!

Tell us about One Fine Day wedding & events and how it came to be?

I always loved planning events! I loved the freedom, the range and the ability to make a clients vision come to life. I finished year 11 and 12 at Daramalan College as an accredited student. I then went on to further my studies at CIT and online at the Wedding Academy where I completed my Diploma in both. I loved every minute of it, so much that at the beginning of 2019 I decided to open my own business One Fine Day Wedding and Events. OFD is all about offering a boutique approach to Wedding and Event planning in the Canberra and surrounding regions. I love to create visually appealing events that mean a lot to my clients on a friendly budget. I have designed a range of events including fashion showcases, baby showers, engagement parties and birthday parties. I may be fairly new in the industry as a sole trader but I am putting all my spare time into building an extensive vendor list that will offer a range of prices for my clients and I am beyond excited to work with likeminded businesses in Canberra to achieve this.

Any advice for those wanting to turn their dream into a reality?

Your only obstacle is yourself, if you have a passion and the drive to make your dream a reality then dive in and start enjoying. Life is too short to wait!
