Tell us a little bit about yourself? 

My name is Noorjahan, nicknamed Coco, and I am the creator of Love Coco Blossoms. I am multi-passionate and a total dreamer. I love being in nature, and my favourite things to do are exploring the world, and hiking through stunning landscapes.

Tell us about Love Coco Blossoms and how it came to be?

Love Coco Blossoms is an online florist, that specializes in whimsical bouquets and beautiful gift hampers. We also run flower crown workshops for Hen’s parties (my favourite!) and other events. As a business, we love to support incredible charities by donating a few dollars of our profit from every sale.

Love Coco Blossoms started when I was sitting in a fancy corporate office and I realised that I was trying to climb a ladder that I didn’t even want to be on. I had been so busy pursuing my education and career, that I had never stopped to think about what I really wanted in my life. Being miserable and dull had crept up on me, and I suddenly felt like I didn’t even know the person that I had become. In that moment I decided that I was going to create a new life for myself. No one was going to hand it to me, I had to make it happen. It was a looong and humbling journey, but I am so proud that I started it. That first step is the scariest, but it’s also the most empowering!

Any advice for those wanting to turn their dream into a reality?

Think about your life in five years time. If you are in the same job, living your life in the same way that you are today, will you be happy? Now picture yourself in five years time after going after your dream, giving it everything you’ve got, how much more exciting and compelling will your life be? Hold on to that vision and pursue it with every fibre of your being. You are the only person who has the power to change your life, and it is not only your right to create an amazing life for yourself, but it is your duty. When you go after your dreams, you give permission to everyone around to go after theirs as well.

In a practical sense, one of the greatest things you can do is adopt a growth mindset. There will be so many challenges along the journey, so get into the mindset of “I can figure this out” no matter what. Place your focus on finding the solution, not on the problem. There will be times when you stumble and fall, and you will question why you started. Reframe these as “lessons” and remind yourself of why you started. Always hold that sparkly vision of your future in your mind, and let it pull you until it becomes your reality.
