Tell us a little bit about yourself?

I grew up on my family’s farm in Orange, NSW. We had all kinds of pets growing up and looking back, that’s where my love of animals began. I remember being 5 years old saying, “I want to be a vet”. After 8 years of study, I graduated from Charles Sturt University as a veterinarian. I love my job. There’s nothing more rewarding than being able to help an animal and supporting their parents.

Tell us about The Foreshore Vet and how it came to be?

In April this year we opened The Foreshore Vet at the Kingsborough Village in Kingston. My aim was to create a practice that proudly represents the local community. I wanted a clinic where pets felt safe, enjoyed visiting and there wasn’t that traditional “hospital” feel. Our team features some of the most experienced and passionate vets and veterinary nurses I have worked with. We all share the same vision: creating a relaxed, happy and safe environment to care for Canberra’s pets.
