What is your drink of choice? A Hendricks gin and tonic with cucumber!

Tell us a little about yourself?

I’ve been a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for the last six years. Aside from fitness, I’m very passionate about basketball, sneakers, and hip hop. I have a beautiful 1 year old chihuahua named Andre (after Andre 3000 from OutKast). 

How did Plane Jane come to be?To me, the most important reason for training – no matter who you are – should be moving well.     As a trainer, I place a lot of emphasis on ensuring my clients work through all three PLANES of motion – Sagittal, frontal, and transverse – to help them move and perform their absolute best. 

I created PLANE JANE to essentially be a pop-up workout event. I want to inject some fun back in to working out, remove the fear from trying different exercises, and replace that fear with excitement about the challenge. 

My workouts are ALWAYS set to hip-hop and R&B. Fun fact – the name PLANE JANE came to me while listening to A$AP Ferg’s song “Plain Jane” (one of my all time favourite songs to work out to)!

Any advice for those who are thinking about turning their dreams into a reality? Your potential is only limited by the things you allow to limit it.
